Joe Saputo's BIO:

It's with sadness that we report the death of Joe Saputo, on March 1, 2008.  Joe was on the Steering Committee for the 50th Reunion, last October, and was the M.C. for the Saturday night dinner.  You may have received two emails from Bill A. with this announcement, but, if not, here are excerpts from them:

Joe passed Saturday, 3/1/08, at his home that he loved, in his yard, due to a massive heart attack, getting ready for his annual St. Joseph's day Lenten party.

Following is the detail of Joe’s wake and memorial service:

The wake will be Tuesday 3/4/08 from 2 PM - 8 PM at the Skaja-Bachmann Funeral Home at:

7715 W Rte 14 in Crystal Lake, IL ... One block north of the intersection of Rte’s 176 & 14.

-Note that the addresses on Rte 14 may be confusing-

The memorial service will be Wednesday, 3/5/08 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church

Dear Lynne,
My sincere sympathy on the loss of Joe. I didn't know Joe in school, but enjoyed serving with him on the reunion steering committee. Joe was, without a doubt, a real class act and will be missed by all of us.
