Married in fall 1957 to Carol Jewell (Class of '59) have 4 children 1 girl - 3 boys (1 set twin boys) 8 grandchildren

(1 set twins boy-girl)  Went into trades as heating- cooling service tech in early 1960's with Standard Oil Co. then to Riley Heating & Cooling of Maywood-Melrose Park in 1972.  After just short of 40 years in trade, retired from Riley Heating & Cooling in 2003.  Over the years have lived in Melrose Park, Bellwood, Westchester for 20 years, now in unincorprated Bensenville (White Pines Subdivision) since 1989.  Keep busy in retirement with my antique cars, 1951 Ford Victoria hardtop, & 1968 Buick LeSabre hardtop.  Carol & I celebrated our 50th anniversary & renewed our wedding vows while cruising the beautiful islands of hawaii on board THE PRIDE OF AMERICA.  Love bluegrass music & oldies from the 50's.  Love being retired.

As Jerry was doing hours of research on THE Herald, at the Melrose Park Library, he made a

most amazing discovery.  There was a page headed, ‘The Youngest Generation’, and right in the

middle of it was a photo/description of his future wife, Carol Jewell.  What could the odds be?
